What is Invisalign®?
Do you feel self-conscious about problems like crooked teeth, crowded teeth or teeth that stick out? Many of our patients used to feel this way. We help our patients to transform the way they feel about their smile with Invisalign – the most trusted name in teeth straightening.
The invisible, clear, removable aligners are tailor-made to fit snugly over teeth. Most people will have no idea you are wearing them and you can take them out for things like eating, brushing teeth and even drinking alcohol. Our team includes a Platinum Invisalign provider.
With Invisalign® treatment from White & Co. you can:
Enjoy new straight-teeth confidence within months
Discretely wear “invisible” plastic aligners
THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY
Because we have invested in the groundbreaking iTero 3D digital scanner, we can use the exclusive “Invisalign outcome simulator” to show you how your teeth will progress throughout your treatment. It means we can also show you how your new smile will look at the end of treatment.
With the iTero 3D digital scanner we can also:
How does it work?
We will discuss the way you feel about your smile. We can show you how your smile will look at the end of treatment.
At the same time, we will assess your oral health to make sure it is the best it can be before safely starting Invisalign treatment.
Start wearing aligners
As you progress from one set of bespoke aligners to another, you will be able to see your teeth becoming progressively straighter.
Your new smile
It is a proud day when treatment finishes with a beautiful, new smile that can last forever with the right care.
INVISALIGN® TREATMENT JOURNEY
Receiving your first set of custom-made aligners is a momentous occasion. The planning is over. You have officially started treatment and your teeth immediately begin to straighten.
After two or three days, you will be settling into your new oral health routine. It includes taking your aligners out to eat, brushing your teeth and clipping them back in.
Around day 8 you will be changing your aligners for the first time. Brush your teeth, put in your new aligners and you are already two weeks closer to beautiful, straight teeth.
You will have noticed your teeth becoming straighter after just a few weeks. By now you will be able to see a real difference as your teeth move towards their final position.
It is time to discard those aligners and to start enjoying your fully-straightened smile. For most people, this moment will come within months of starting treatment. (Please note: Treatment times and specifics vary from patient to patient. This guide is for illustration purposes only.)

Does Invisalign® treatment hurt?
Each new set of Invisalign aligners can make your teeth feel tender to begin with. The good news is this shows the treatment is working and you are on your way to straight teeth.
Will this treatment affect my eating?
While wearing aligners, the only thing you should consume is water. Take them out to eat or to drink anything other than water.
How should I look after my teeth, gums and aligners during treatment?
Keep your aligners clean by gently brushing them every time you take them out. Look after your teeth in the usual way with a good daily oral health routine.
Will this treatment affect my speech?
Most Invisalign patients report no overall problems with speech. For some patients, speech can be affected right at the start of treatment until they get used to having the aligners in their mouth.
Is this a safe treatment?
Invisalign® has been established for many years. For our highly-skilled, highly-experienced Invisalign dentists, this is a very safe treatment.
